Keith and I are proud to announce the birth of our daughter, Saia Isabelle.
(Saia is prounced sigh-a, for those of you who dont know.) Due to what was becoming preeclampsia, I was induced at 5:30 am on August 5th. My blood count was very low, was very swollen and was having high blood pressure. After over twenty-four hours of labor she was finally born August 6th at 7:23 in the morning.

Its amazing how much you can love someone that you just met like this. Its so automatic the protection and care I have for her. I was in the hopstial for three full days and came home Tuesday morning. Monday night we took her to the nursery, so that Keith could take me to get some fresh air. We werent even gone 15 minutes and we already felt bad for leaving her and missed her. People always talk about how strong a parents love is, I would have never been able to imagine until now!

Keith has been a wonderful dad. I wanst sure how well he'd jump in a learn things about a baby. But I was out of it for a while and due to my blood count they didnt want me up and walking or doing much. So he had to do a lot for the baby, by himself. He jumped right in there started changing her and feeding her. I was amazed. I felt bad that I could help out any more than I did. But he was so happy to do anything for her, and still is. We had to take her to the doctor to have blood drawn and Keith just talked to her and kept her so calm. Shes going to be a daddys girl, she already has him wrapped around her finger!



I am sorry I have been very slack around here lately. I will try to get caught up on commenting on you guys' work!!
